The Publishing Enterprise Rzeczpospolita Plc (Przedsiębiorstwo Wydawnicze Rzeczpospolita SA) is a single member Treasury company. It was established in 2005, as a consequence of conversion of the State Publishing Enterprise Rzeczpospolita (Państwowe Przedsiębiorstwo Wydawnicze Rzeczpospolita).
The publishing house has been on the Polish market since 1991. Its offer consists of both, books and magazines. PW Rzeczpospolita SA publishes detective stories and thrillers, as well as periodicals: "Detektyw" (“Detective”), "Za miastem" (“The Countryside”), “Zabytki Heritage” and "Przegląd pszczelarski" (“Bee-Keepers Review”) and portal farmer.pl.
According to the agreed strategy, the publishing house is going to introduce more titles onto the press market.
Since July 1996 Przedsiębiorstwo Wydawnicze Rzeczpospolita SA has owned 48,913% shares in „Pressbublica”, the publisher of the national daily newspaper „Rzeczpospolita”, which has the leading position on the Polish press market. PWRSA has been the sole owner of Plantpress, the company publishing gardening and agricultural periodicals.
The publishing house is a member of Związek Kontroli Dystrybucji Prasy – Audit Bureau of Circulation Poland.
